Don’t let the name fool you…BBQ-AllStars seasonings and rubs are NOT just for the BBQ – although each of the rubs were designed with the BBQ in mind, use them moderately on everything you cook no matter what type of cooking method you use. BBQ-AllStars seasonings and rubs are so versatile that you can use them on everything from slow cooking (like your outdoor smoker or competition cooker) to sprinkling on your finished cooked food or fresh vegetables…you can even use various liquids with our seasonings and rubs to form unique marinades for your food to bathe in. What makes BBQ-AllStars seasonings and rubs different from others is the unique combination of fresh herbs and spices that are used in all our seasonings and rubs. These fresh herbs and spices are purchased in small quantities from a distributor in the USA that only deals with fresh dried herbs and spices. Furthermore, no artificial ingredients, anti-caking agents, preservatives, or chemical flavor enhancing compounds like MSG are added to our seasonings. We also only use raw unprocessed “turbinado” sugar from Maui, HI – not the highly processed white sugar. Also, only coarse flake kosher salt is used in our seasonings and rubs…not the iodine-laced table salt that is commonly found in other brands of seasoning products. What does all this mean? It means we here at BBQ-AllStars believe in quality and taste. It may cost more for us to obtain our fresh herbs and spices in small quantities, or purchase our raw “turbinado” sugar from Hawaii, or add unique herbs like Lavender flowers, French thyme, Chervil, and Savory to name just a few. We don’t stop there with unique fresh herbs, we continue our desire for greatness by having unique flavors like dehydrated lemon and lime juice, dehydrated Dijon mustard, Worcestershire powder, honey powder, apple cider vinegar powder, and brownulated brown sugar. We’ve also gone one step further to add such a unique ingredient in some of our seasonings, that I guarantee you BBQ-AllStars is most likely the first and only seasoning manufacturer to use “NFE”. NFE is a “natural flavor enhancer” made by Kikkoman – the world’s #1 producer of naturally brewed soy and teriyaki sauces. NFE is made from fermented wheat protein and can be used as a replacement for hydrolyzed vegetable proteins and monosodium glutamate (MSG). The unique salty flavor helps give some of BBQ-AllStars’ seasonings and rubs a natural way to enhance flavor without the “unnatural flavors” and chemicals so commonly used in other brands of cooking seasonings. We at BBQ-AllStars are not in business to make an unearned dollar. We strictly believe in the common phrase “you get what you pay for”. We won’t sell a product that is cheap, dull, and loaded with unnatural ingredients and chemical flavor enhancers.
